Creeds Farm was built as an eco-demonstration house and showcases the principles and operation of low energy and water-wise design features that are available to family homes. We use solar energy, the skillion roof maximises sun penetration, and provides natural cross ventilation and a simple rainwater harvesting solution. Recycled grey water is used to flush toilets and water garden beds.

We embrace our sustainability ethos by minimising waste, recycling, composting, using eco-friendly products and paper products made from sustainable resources where possible.

We want to help members of our community to live as sustainably as possible and work with the council and other stakeholders to provide information, workshops and practical ways to protect our planet for our children.
